7782-44-7 		Non-toxic gas, strongly supports burning of combustible materials.
Usually purchased as cylinders, especially for oxy-acetylene welding. Staff must be aware of the risks associated with compressed gas, the cylinder must be secured to protect the valve. Be sure to use an approved regulator and follow precautions referred to in Section 3.3.4.2 (j).
Keep valve and regulator clear of grease as this can ignite in flow of pure oxygen.Use eye and face protection when using compressed oxygen gas.
Use in well-ventilated area.
