1760 		Corrosive, toxic if ingested, avoid skin contact.
Use eye and skin protection where splashes or contact is possible.

Contact with fluxes containing fluoride ions must be avoided. Fluoride ions, in dilute solutions, can cause intractable sores and ulcers, which are difficult to heal.

Lead/tin solder and silver solder may be used by students, Years 5-6, provided all safety issues are addressed and the principal has given approval.
Consult the MSDS for the product selected to determine whether it is a hazardous substance.
