 Variable toxicity.
Flammable due to the solvent. Avoid skin contact as some pigments may be absorbed through the skin.
Since there will be a variation between products, it is important to follow the directions on the label. Consult the MSDS for the product selected to determine whether it is a hazardous substance.

Note: Marbling ink may be used with primary students Years K-6 and is available through Q-Stores. Teachers must minimise the risk due to flammable solvents and eliminate the chance of students ingesting the marbling ink.
