Use eye and skin protection when splashes can occur. In tiny amounts, can be used for testing the sense of taste.
People vary in their ability to taste the compound, and the ability follows simple genetic rules of inheritance. No more than 0.1 mg of material should be present on a taste strip; more concentrated solutions should not be tasted. Use a 0.1% solution for soaking paper. Take great care in the preparation of taste strips. Some individuals maybe allergic e.g. asthmatics.

Disposal: Waste solutions of this chemical may be disposed of down the sink (to sewer).
