BANNED CHEMICAL IN DET SCHOOLS.

Ignites on contact with iodine; explodes on contact with bromine. Can be ignited with a hot glass rod. Pour 0.2 M copper sulfate on skin or clothes which have been in contact with white phosphorus, since this converts the phosphorus to harmless copper phosphide.
